     Mts Palay-Palay-Mataas Na Gulod National Park was declared by virtue of Proclamation No. 1594 on 26 October 1976. It is proposed as a Protected Landscape under the NIPAS. These are part of the so-called “ Hikers paradise “ being visited by countless mountain climbers, students and nature lovers.

Mt. Marami

     Mt. Marami is situated at the heart of Maragondon Cavite sharing with the same location and characteristics with Pico de Loro. The said Mountain is 405 MASL and categorize as class 1- 3. The name Mt. Marami is of local origin to its “many rocks” formation.

     If Pico de Loro were a blockbuster movie, its sequel would be Mt. Marami, set in the same location and sharing the same characteristics.

Mt. Buntis and Mt. Nagpatong

     Andres Bonifacio (1863-1897) was a Philippine revolutionary leader and founder of the Katipunan, a society which aimed to start an independence movement against Spain. Although one of the 'masses', Bonifacio was said to have very educated, even reading literary books such as Victor Hugo's Les Miserables. He was also a great admirer of Jose Rizal.

Mt. Pico de Loro

     Pico de Loro is located 85 kilometers southwest of Manila. It is bounded by the island of Corregidor and the Caraballo Mountains in the north, Nasugbu, Batangas in the south, Maragondon on the east and the South China Sea on the west. With the height of 664 meters above sea level, it is considered the highest mountain in the generally flat Cavite province. Pico de Loro is the highest point on a series of rolling hills and mountains within the boundary of Cavite and Batangas. Location: Sta. Mercedes, Maragondon, Cavite.
